Senate rules and traditions are conducive to consensus building but discourage roll call voting. There was only one recorded vote on a conservation bill during the 2009-2010 session. In lieu of publishing a scorecard for the Senate, Conservation Voters recognizes ten Senate HEROES for their steadfast leadership on conservation issues.

Senator Phil Leventis (D-Sumter)
